Summer started alrady

Thank you for this great weather!!! I've been sunbathing every time I've had a chance. :) My holiday kind of started cause I have more free days from the restaurant. We've been spending a lot of time in the summer cottage too. The water temperature was already 21C and oh boy I swam!

The workaway exchange students left two weeks ago. There is a Brazilian girl coming here for two days soon and I can't wait! :) Hosting was a lot of fun and it really made us all go out of our comfort zones, in a good way! I'm definitely gonna do this again but now it's good for us to have some family time.

Kiitos upeista aurinkoisista keleistä! Aurinkoa on tullu otettua aina kun mahdollista. :) Mun loma vähän jo alkokin kun on ollut paljon vapaapäiviä ravintolasta! Ollaan oltu myös paljon mökillä. Veden lämpötila oli jo 21C!

Workaway vaihtarit lähti pari viikkoa sitten. Braziliasta asti ois tulossa yksi tyttö piakkoin enkä malta oottaa! :) Hostaaminen oli tosi mukavaa ja laitto meiät kaikki menemään mukavuusalueimme ulkopuolelle, hyvällä tavalla! Aijon ehdottomasti tehdä tän uudelleen, nyt kuitenkin on ihan hyvä olla hetken ihan perheen kesken.

I've been dying my hair with this 15 wash blue color for over three months now and I love the stripes. The color was on sale, only 3€. Now I have this a bit more radical summer hair style on my mind and I'm gonna make it happen soon ;) / Oon värjännyt hiuksia 15 pesun kestävällä sinisellä värillä kolmisen kuukautta ja oon tykästynyt raitoihin kovin! Seuraavaks meen kampaajalle värjäyttämään vähän radikaalimman hiusmallin kesäksi ;)

 It was nice to go to Kasvihuoneilmiö for old times sakes. / Oli kiva käydä Kasvihuoneilmiössä vanhojen aikojen kunniaksi.

I cut heart shaped carrots for Mother's Day in the restaurant :D / Leikkasin sydämenmuotoisia porkkania äitienpäiväksi ravintolassa :D  

Kamilla turned 20 and I was lucky enough to make it to her birthday party! Lot of fun <3 / Kamilla täytti 20, onneksi pääsin hänen synttäri pippaloihin! Lot of fun <3

And then there is this some weird Unicorn who's following me everywhere ;) <3 / Ja sit on tää yks outo yksisarvinen joka seurailee muo ihan joka paikkaan ;) <3

Now there's a nice terrace open in Bhnachha Ghar. A great place to enjoy a Lassi drink or maybe even Chef's Special Fried Banana ice cream portion ;P / Nyt on Bhanchha Ghar:ssa kiva terassi auki. Mukava paikka nauttia vaikka Lassi - juotavia tai Chef special fried banana - jäätelöannos ;P 

New Family Members

Our awesome workawayers arrived two weeks ago from Kimito. Roman is from Russia, Saint Petersburg and Suleiman "Solo" is from the USA, Florida. At first we were supposed to have only one person but these guys met in the previous host family so they decided to come together. And how are we all fitting in to our apartment? Roman sleeps on a mattress in the living room and Solo is crashing the couch.

We all get along very well and it has been great! Every morning I leave them a to do - list with a few chores so it's nice to come home when everything is done. They've been very helpful.

I've been taking a lot of pictures during these two weeks so enjoy!

Meidän ihanat workaway vaihtarit saapuivat kaks viikkoa sitten Kemiöstä. Roman on Venäjältä Pietarista, ja Suleiman "Solo" on USA:sta Floridasta. Alunperin meille piti tulla vaan yksi henkilö mutta pojat tapasivat aikaisemmassa isäntäperheessä joten päättivät tulla yhdessä. Ja mitenkö me mahdutaan meiän pieneen kämppään? Roman nukkuu patjalla olkkarissa ja Solo on sohvalla. 

Tullaan kaikki hyvin toimeen ja tähän asti kaikki om toiminu hyvin! Joka aamu jätän heille tehtävä listan pöydälle joten on kiva tulla töistä kotiin ku kaikki hommat on tehty. Heistä on ollu paljon apua.

Oon ottanu todella paljon kuvia näiden kahen viikon aikana joten nauttikaa niistä!

The first day we drove to Teijo National Park to enjoy the nature with Altsi, Niko and the guys. / Ekana päivänä ajettiin Teijon Kansallispuistoon nauttimaan luonnosta Altsin, Nikon ja poikien kanssa.

Pauliina threw a pre-vappu party for her exchange student friends and invited us there too. Solo and Roman had a great time and I gotta say the whole night was extremely action-packed! / Pauliina järjesti pre-vappu bileet hänen vaihtari ystävilleen ja kutsus meiät myös. Sololla ja Romanilla oli tosi mukavaa ja koko ilta olikin aika tapahtumarikas!

When the weather was supposed to be nice we decided to make a picnic in Pahkavuori Aurinkokallio. Even though it was cold and the weather wasn't so nice, the food and the company was great! / Sillon kun hyvin ilmojen PITI alkaa, päätettiin mennä piknikille Pahkavuoreen Aurinkokalliolle. Vaikka olikin kylma ja sää ei ollut niin kiva, ruoka ja seura kelpas!

I was working on First of May so we just threw a little party at our place before going to the bar. Actually I had bus tickets to Turku for Altsi and me but everyone wanted to stay in Salo so we skipped Turku and The Night Club Monkey. / Olin töissä Vappuna joten pidettiin vaan pienet pippalot meillä ennen ku mentiin baariin. Itseasiassa mulla oli jo bussiliput Turkuun Altsille ja mulle mut kaikki halus jäädä Saloon joten skipattiin Turku ja yöklubi The Monkey.

I'm so lucky to have helpers around. I really didn't have time to decorate and prepare for the First of May party. Luckily the whole place was cleaned and decorated when I got home from work :) / Mulla ei ollut aikaa koristella ja valmistella vappu bileitä. Onneksi kun tulin kotiin, koko kämppä oli siivottu ja koristeltu. :)
