Feel the summer in your senses

Stinging bees & red ants, blood sucking mosquitoes & leeches, abominable spiders & worms, diseases spreading rats & ticks among many other precious creatures of summer just come along with everything wonderful; Trees & plants so breathtakingly beautiful, flowers & rocks in thousands of different diverse colors, the wind & birds soothingly singing, grass & moss softly pampering your bare feet and the bright sun warming every soul that just opens its senses.

Kivuliaasti pistävät mehiläiset & punamuurahaiset, verenhimoiset hyttyset & iilimadot, vastenmieliset hämähäkit & madot, tauteja levittävät punkit & rotat ja muut kesän välttämättömät otukset kuuluvat vain samaan pakettiin kaiken muun ihanuuden kanssa; Henkeäsalpaavan kauniit puut & kasvit, tuhansissa väreissä kukoistavat pensaat & kukat, jalanpohjia hellivä pehmeä ruoho & sammal, lempeä tuuli & lintujen laulu sekä porottava aurinko lämmittämässä sieluja, jotka kaikelle aistinsa avaavat. 

  The trip was extremely exhausting to my fearful best friend who stresses over new people & situations. Luckily she had her favorite stuffed toy "Siili" - the hedgehog by her side. My car is her safe place so other than the two-hour ferry trip, she was more than fine.

Matka Viroon oli todella stressaava pelokkalle pikku ystävälläni, joka stressaa uusia ihmisiä & paikkoja. Onneksi hänellä oli turvanaan lempi pehmolelu "Siili", joka kulki matkassa koko ajan. Autoni onkin hänen turvapaikkansa, joten kahden tunnin laivareissua lukuunottamatta reissu sujui moitteettomasti.

Finally there <3 We were positively surprised by the beautiful, peaceful, green land with a cozy cabin in the middle of the Southern Estonian wild nature. This is a good place to be. 

Vihdoin perillä <3 Olimme positiivisesti yllättyneitä; kaunis, rauhallinen, vihreä & tilava piha-alue kodikkaassa mökissä keskellä Etelä-Viron kansallispuistossa. Täällä on hyvä olla. 

Lots of grass area means lots of ticks. Yeah, those bloodsucking fuckers that are hard to be avoided. Hippu has had about 10 of them in her & I've been trying to find ways to make them leave her alone.

There's one way I found very cheap & efficient - lavender flowers!!  Those bastards can´t stand the scent of a lavender flower so I made her a collar out of them. 

Valtava nurmikkoalue tuo punkkeja mukanaan. Niitä on löytynyt Hipusta yli kymmenittäin &  olen yrittänyt löytää keinoja pitää ne loitolla. Yksi toimiva & edullinen karkotin on laventeli kukka. Tein Hipulle niistä pannan, joka on selvästi auttanut. 

SWINGS!!!! <3 Cant's explain you why but I fucking love swings. In Salo I go to the near parks with Hippu to swing & listen to music almost everyday. In a place like this it feels almost like a waste of time not to make one. 

KEINUT!!! <3 Keinun tuomassa vapaudessa on vain sitä jotain selittimätöntä taikaa, joka kotikaupungissakin on aina tuonut mielihyvää. Omaa musikkia kuunnellessa, ilmavirran tarttuessa hiuksiin tuoden lapsuuden muistot mieleen... oma valitsema musiikki kuulokkeista todella kruunaa hetken. Täällä puiden & luonnon keskellä olisi tuhlausta olla tekemättä keinua.
